The sodium dithionite production plants of Guangdong ZhongCheng Chemicals Inc., Ltd (located in Mayong, Dongguan), which are able to produce 180,000 tons of sodium dithionite per year, ceased production on August 31, 2014. Guangdi Chemical has not only acquired its production technology and made innovations on that basis, but also obtained its market shares and professional technicians. Making use of its experience in production and market connections, we can quickly reach goals for output and capacity.

2. At present, most sodium dithionite producers in China are still low in the value chain, meaning that they can produce only Class 1 products and conforming products with acceptable quality. In contrast, Guangdi Chemical can produce high value-added products of superior-quality and formulated products. What’s more, we also have a global perspective, with our products sold to more than 60 countries and regions in the world under the background that the domestic and global market consumption of sodium dithionite increases by over 10% each year.

3. The chemical industry has a strong dependence on resources and market, and that’s why we choose to set up our sodium dithionite production plant in the Maoming National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. To be more specific, the petrochemical industry is robust in Maoming, which presents for us a vast market. Because Guangdi Chemical is close to the raw material production sites and customers, the costs and safety risks of product shipment are greatly reduced. Besides, the well-developed water, land and rail transportation system in Maoming provides enormous conveniences for product shipment, and the proximity of the Maoming Port also makes it easy to conduct international trades.
